Get to know the friendly faces you’ll see on the ice! All of our Coaches are members of United States Figure Skating, have passed a comprehensive background check through the National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI), and are SafeSport certified.

Private Lessons

Looking for more instruction, outside of Learn to Skate classes? Private lessons are a great way to get extra coaching on skating skills, and can be a good option for those who want to improve their skills or pursue competitive figure skating.

These coaches are currently scheduling for privates for new students for Summer 2026! Note- our home arena, Lincoln Park Community Center, does not have ice available for lessons from April-August. Coaches will coach in other locations during the summer.

About Private Lessons

Coach fees do not include ice time fees. Each location (rink) has their own ice fee to pay separately. Your coach will let you know method of payments they accept.

Private coach etiquette:

Please avoid committing to work with more than one coach at the same time, and avoid contacting multiple at same time, as this can create scheduling conflicts. We recommend reaching out to your first-choice coach and waiting for a response before contacting another. Once you have selected a coach, you will generally continue working with that coach exclusively. If you are interested in adding a second coach, or changing coaches, please discuss this with your primary coach first.
